However if you have very similar slides or you have slide titles set (those will be converted to bookmarks on PDF export, BTW), you may prefer the readable slide title over possibly too-tiny-to-read slide contents. The obvious difference between hovering information pop-ups and permanent text is that you can have only one hover pop-up, and pop-ups frequently cover other parts of the screen.
