Bug ID: 87272
Summary: Image in the footer jumps to the header
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.3.4.1 release
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Steps to reproduce:
1. Use GIMP or another bitmap editor to create a 2000 x 400 image. Contents of
the image are unimportant, but try a color other than white so you can see it
in the document.
2. Export the file as a PNG file, name it whatever you want.
3. Create a new Writer document.
4. Insert » Header » Default style
5. Insert » Footer » Default style
6. Scroll to the footer and double-click on it. You should be editing the
footer now.
7. Insert the file using Insert » Image » From file... » Choose your image. The
image should be inserted now and selected with its 8 green corners showing.
8. Take the upper-right corner and do a horizontal drag to the right, exceeding
the page limits (the UI will limit you to the page).
Expected behavior:
The image should be enlarged accordingly.
Current behavior:
The image is enlarged but is moved to the header.
Context:
LibreOffice 4.3.4.1 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS installed from the LibreOffice PPA.
Using Xfce.
