I produce a similar error by deleting/changing a cell of an area of a SUM() and
then doing REDO (CTRL-Z). The sum() remains incorrectly at the value of the
step before.
(LO Version: 4.2.6.3 and older, @WinXPPro)
sum(    cell1 :  cell2 )
125    125    32    # three cells logged by copy-paste from LO Calc after redo

i.e.:
157 = 125 + 32    #OK, now delete cell2 "32" ...
125 = 125 + 0     #change the sum(), OK, and then redoing (CTRL-Z) to restore
old value "32" of cell2
yields    (see log above)        
125    = 125    + 32    #WRONG ! ! ! after redoing

I confirm the work around from ign_christian
> Hard recalc (ctrl-shift-f9) resolves the problem.
