Bug ID: 87991
Summary: 3D groups broken
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.3.5.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drawing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
As I read on several tutorials on the internet, two 3D objects are combined to
a single 3D the following way:
1. Create two 2D shapes
2. Convert each shape to 3D (extrusion)
3. Cut the first 3D object
3. Enter the second 3D object's group
4. Paste the first 3D object
In LibreOffice Draw 4.3.5 (Windows 7) the first (pasted) 3D object is inserted
*outside* of the current group. That is, after this procedure I still end up
having two distinct 3D groups.
In LibreOffice Draw 4.1.3.2 (Ubuntu 13.10) the first (pasted) 3D object is
inside the current 3D group. However the second 3D object (which was already
there) changes it size. Additionally, the first 3D object sometimes changes its
rotation.
The behavior is independent of which 3D object is added to which other 3D
object.
