Expample: Open Document Go to Templates (F11) Change e.g. with "Header 2" the language in the template (-> character -> language) to a different one, e.g. german Now if you save this document as document template and use it, you will also have the paragraph template associated with the language selected there. If you did never touch the language setting, it will always correspond to the setting of "standard", repsectively the next higher template, going back to document language. If I change the document language or the lanugage of the "standard template" -> nothing happens. I believe in old versions (Staroffice...) it was possible to associate the language to the "superior" document. It would be great to have it back, as I am using old and grown templates, that keep being optimized with each new major *office version.
