Bug ID: 88114
Summary: UI: Style dropdown split menu isn't dismissed by
clicking another style
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.0.1 rc
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
In LO 4.4.0, the Style dropdown's new split menu can't be dismissed by clicking
on another style. This report is extremely trivial and nitpicky but might
indicate a lack of polish. I'll mark this as an enhancement request.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start new document
2. Click Style Dropdown
3. Click on one of the arrows on the right side of a style to open split menu
4. Try to select another style
Expected:
You should be able to click another style to dismiss the split menu. Note that
this should not actually select the style you clicked on, but should just
dismiss the split menu.
Actual:
Your click is ignored.
Note that you can achieve the desired effect by just clicking on the arrow
again to dismiss the menu. You can also click anywhere else on the screen to
dismiss the split menu and roll up the drop down.
Again, sorry for even bothering to report something so trivial. There are many
more important bugs out there! I tested this using LO 4.4.0.1 rc1 on 32bit
Fedora17.
