Bug #: 47428
Summary: Drawing, FILESAVE, Embed color palette in document non
working, libreoffice-3.5.1rc2 in linux Slackware-13.37
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.1 Release
Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drawing
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
System and libreoffice installation
libreoffice-3.5.1 rc2 on Linux slackware 13.37 64 bits,
from download LibO_3.5.1_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz, containing
(among others):
LibO_3.5.1rc2_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US/RPMS/libreoffice3.5-3.5.1-102.x86_64.rpm
Installed from pkg repackaging of the RPMs, by slackbuilds.org for
libreoffice-3.5.0,
should not be a problem for lo-3.5.1.
I filled a report about this bug, with less info, for libreoffice-3.5.0, in
(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47332)
The problem: embed color palette (Color List) *in* Draw document
does not work on my Linux:
slackware linux$ libreoffice > Drawing > New, draw a rectangle,
> Area... > Colors: color name jpcolor-6-6-6 (R,G,B=6,6,6), > Add, [x] Embed.
> File > Save: jpcolor-6-6-6.odg
Other user on same slackware (OR copied to Windows 7), lo-3.5.1,
open file jpcolor-6-6-6.odg: rectangle has correct color, but NO name of color,
so no palette embedded in document.
Palette *is* saved in Draw document [x] Embed colors in Win 7
libreoffice-3.5.1,
and seen correctly when Win 7 document loaded in libreoffice-3.5.1 on my Linux
box.
I looked at the content of ODG files, \qt{7z x file.odg},
- file with embedded color list created in lo-3.5.1 Win 7:
contains Settings/ColorTable.xml
- file with embedded color list created in lo-3.5.1 slack64-13.37:
no Settings/ColorTable.xml, not even a Settings/ dir!
On my Linux box,
- user removed any prior libreoffice configs, rm -Rf ~/.config/libreoffice
- make sure no trace of prior versions, rm -Rf /opt/libreoffice3.5
Not sure it is a libreoffice bug in the RPMs, can be the re-packaging,
but it is improbable (?).
