Bug ID: 88501
Summary: Won't install from Download location redirected to
drive othe than C:
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.3.5.1 rc
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Installation
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
I have my Download directory relocated to my D: drive, as well as any other
data-related directories (for My Documents, My etc.).
However, apparently the drive spec in the installation file is hard-coded to
point to C drive. I get a message the installation file cannot be found when
the install proper begins if I leave it where it downloaded (on D:). If I copy
the msi file to the original location on my C: drive it works.
I've noticed this hard-coding with some other program installations, and it
really should be changed to allow running the installation from other than C:
especially since Windows allows relocation of these standard directories.
