Matthew Francis <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Component|Writer |filters and storage Version|4.2.5.2 release |3.5.6.2 release Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE Whiteboard| |filter:docx OS|Linux (All) |All --- Comment #7 from Matthew Francis <[email protected]> --- This appears to be more an issue with importing formulae from .docx than a Writer problem. The question marks are an indication that there is an error in the formula syntax. Taking for instance formula (3) from attachment 103592, its formula source reads: {R} rsub {SA} = u {u} ^ {T} + cos {left (SA right ) ( } left ... If this is instead changed to: {R} rsub {SA} = u {u} ^ {T} + cos {left (SA right ) } ( left ... (with one "}" and ")" swapped) then the formula looks like the sample rendering from Word. In fact, this seems to be a duplicate of bug 59181 - both involve confusion between straight and curly brackets in formulae, and import from .docx *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 59181 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
