The purpose: 
1) you draw something,
2) you export it in png
3) you import the image in writer

( 2) +3) ) are becasue generally importing draw document into writer is a
fail...

4) you don't wan to see big pixel in the image that bring you back in the
80s... 

About resolution:

Basically we shall just copy the behavior of MS Office. When Visio export a
drawing to image, it works well, no one complain about, no one need wizard and
tuning dodgy parameters.
