With version 4.3.5 it still exist. But with 4.4.0.2 it WORKSFORME. With the first example document the load time is now about 1 second with and without displayed Navigator (Win7, 32 Bit). It seemed that the fix has not been backported to version 4.3.3 as stated in comment 13.
