Bug ID: 88808
Summary: VIEWING: Content of text OLE object inserted in Draw
is not displayed correctly
Product: LibreOffice
Version: Inherited From OOo
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drawing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
This bug is split from bug 51508
Reproduced on LO 4.4.0.2 (Ubuntu 14.04, OSX 10.10) and 3.3.0.4 (OSX 10.10)
When a text OLE object is inserted into Draw, its rendering is not correct
after ending editing of the object
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a blank Draw document
2. Insert a text OLE object (Insert - Object - OLE Object - LibreOffice Text)
3. Without resizing (to avoid bug 51508), type a few lines of text
4. Open Format - Page - Area and select a coloured fill (e.g. "Light red")
5. Click outside the OLE object to end editing
6. Select the OLE object by clicking to show the bounds
Expected result
- The text is contained within the OLE frame
Actual result
- The text is shifted downwards from the displayed OLE frame and spills out of
it (although the page background does not)
