As the installation process of both extensions worked fine in LO 4.3 (same version, same machine), I assume that there must be some change that triggers the installation errors. But maybe it's not an upstream problem. I did some further invastigations: * The extensions install without errors on a parallel installation of the 4.4.0 final packages from the LO website. * Trying to install the extensions however within a LO 4.4.0 final from the Ubuntu PPA (https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/libreoffice-4-4) leads to the exact error messages that I described in my report for LO 4.4.0 RC2. * The upgrade process of a LO 4.3 profile folder that already has an installation of the mentioned extensions works fine--also with the packages from the PPA. => Hence: Affected are only new installations; affected are only the packages of the Ubuntu PPA.
