            Bug ID: 89057
           Summary: crashed no reinstall
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I've been using LibreOffice for aboiut two years now, generally i like it very
much and i don't think that i've learned half of what it can do. it has however
always been incapable of holding much on the clipboard without crashing. a
couple of days ago it just started crashing every couple of minutes, over and
over again. so i went yesterday and downloaded another upgrade. after it
installed, it would only open the Writer when i tried to open Calc by specific
document shortcuts. when i tried to click on the programs own shortcut on the
desktop, it would immediately say that LibreOffice has crashed. eventually i
uninstalled everything and reinstalled 4.4 but then it would not install even
though that it said that it did, i checked via the control panel and there was
nothing installed, also nothing appeared on the desktop. so now i have deleted
everything and reinstalled the earlier version 4.2.8.2 but i have the same
problem that as soon as i click on it, it says that it has crashed. i really
need a solution as i have many thousands of hours of work tied up in Libre
documents. i have yet to check on my desktop if it's still working, this is my
laptop HP EliteBook running vista. any recommendations would be greatly
appreciated. bless
