A picture showing text being trashed by Libreoffice
When scrolling up and down a document in print layout mode, the text is not
drawn in the correct positions when close to the top and bottom of each page.
This can cause lines to repeat or be printed on top of one another, and also
page break graphics (shadows, etc) to be displayed on top of text. When a full
screen redraw is executed, for instance when resizing the window, the text is
drawn correctly.
