            Bug ID: 89353
Summary: Inserting OLE file using "Link to File" option does
not, in fact, link file, but embeds it instead
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.0.6.2 release
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: Mac OS X (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: notinterest...@gmx.com

Insert -> Object -> OLE Object option presents dialogue box with "Create New"
and "Create from file" option. When "Create from file" is selected, a "Link to
File" checkbox appears. However, it seems to have no effect - the selected file
is embedded (not linked) regardless of whether the box is ticked.

Saving the main file as FODT and checking it with text editor confirms that it
contains no reference to the linked file regardless of checkbox setting.

Editing the "linked" file does not ever change the copy in the main file, even
if the main file is closed and opened again.
