--- Comment #2 from bernard <[email protected]> ---
Thank you for your action and your question.

First, i would suggest to have an easier way to edit notes : now we need to
find one note and select it, so that the "note" option being active in edition
menu. It should always be active, and select as the "current edited note" for
instance the next note after the cursor. It would be far more easier as a note
symbol is quite small and not easy to select.

Second, in the edition window for notes (obtained when selecting the "note"
option in edition menu, or in the "note" option of the right click menu) there
are already 2 arrows to select the previous, resp the next, note as "current
edited note". I would suggest to add a button "Select all" so that the choice
for "note type" be applied to all notes.

For a full functionality, it would be possible to apply the "select all" mode
also for the choice of "automatic numbering", but the manual option needs
"select one" mode.

>From outside it seems quite simple and quite efficient for the user, i don't
know from the inside ;-)

By the way i may highlight you the need that someone look how to solve the Bug
38187 that is quite old now, from 2011. I have a 500+ page book to finish and
not having links between text and endnote in the generated pdf is quite
disturbing.

Thanks a lot !
