What I was saying is that when users who know no code say how easy things are to implement, they are likely mistaken. Just because an extension is well commented does not mean it's easy to implement (I would personally love to see CT2N brought into core...but it's not so easy). I have no issue with this ability being brought into core - all I'm saying is that: (1) it needs to be in c++; and (2) it's likely not as easy as one might assume if they aren't aware of c++ and the 10,000,000 lines of code that we already have. If you choose to take this as a personal insult, that's on you. I also am not a programmer (I dabble in C++ but this would be well above my abilities). And, I've been told on a number of occasions that things I assumed would be easy to do, would in fact be either impossible or really really hard.
