Bug ID: 89459
Summary: Autocorrection doesn’t work with space characters
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.2.8.2 release
Hardware: Other
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
In the Tools > AutoCorrect options I am entering ‘ —’ (a space an em dash) to
the Replace field and ‘ —’ (non-breaking space and em dash) to the With field
(such are the rules of typography in my language). When I type space followed
by em dash in a text, nothing happens (non-breaking spaces are seen after
setting checkbox in Tools > Options > LibreOffice Writer > Formatting Ads >
[Display of] Non-breaking spaces). At the same time other replacement patterns
work—(r) becomes ®, for example. In the same document, on the same line, with a
replacement that was made a moment ago.
