Every time I put my computer to sleep while working on a document (.odt) in
Writer, the Writer program slows down dramatically after restarting. This
happens even when the screen goes dark.
It solves by closing ALL files open in Writer -so shuting Writer- and opening
them again.
My sistem is a Dell Latitude E6410 with an NVIDIA NVS 3100M, under Ubuntu 14.10
64 bits. I have 8 Gb of RAM and the computer works otherwise very smoothly.
I'm using the NVIDIA proprietary drivers 304.125 version. Newer proprietary
drivers used to be a nightmare, but now the system works fine with this driver.
