Bug ID: 89486
Summary: The decimal separator key should always produce a
period character in Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
The keyboard decimal separator key . (between 0 and Enter on the numeric
keypad) produces a period '.' or a comma "," depending on the OS regional
settings .
However, in Writer, it should always produce a period regardless of the OS
regional settings and in accordance to what the keyboard shows.
This is the behavior of Microsoft Word if it matters.
It may be made an option set to that behavior by default.
