Bug #: 47777
Summary: Print to File creates faulty pdf
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.1 Release
Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS/Version: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: PDF export
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
In trying to get around the fact that the pdf export always exports a color pdf
even when there is no color in the document, I tried the "print to file"
option, targeting our monochrome laser printer (Xerox Workcentre Pro 90). The
pdf file produced cannot be opened by the Adobe Reader 9.4.7, nor the
PDF-Xchange Viewer, although it can be opened just fine with Okular.
Adobe Reader says: "could not open 'test.pdf' because it is either not a
supported file type or because the file has been damaged"
I am running LibreOffice 3.5.1 under Linux Mint 12 (amd64).
