I'm pivoting this report a bit :)

I noticed in 4.5 the "M" of "Match Case" is underlined, indicating that "Alt-M"
should activate it like in menus and dialogs.
"Alt-M", however, does nothing.

I'm setting this to NEW.

It should be noted, that there is a design team proposal to make the Match Case
option a button: bug 81740 (thanks Octavio for the find).
Yet, perhaps that future button could be shortcutted.
