TESTING with the Android-x86 4.4r2 image in VirtualBox + F-droid builds.
I can get LibreOffice 4.5-master (sha1: 2f6bc9c) to install, but trying to open
any files causes LibreOffice Viewer to close/crash:

Opening test.odt file caused a crash for me as well.
I also tested file
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/plain/chart2/qa/extras/data/pptx/chart.pptx
as mentioned on bug 89221, and experienced a crash.
Testing with Android 4.4.4 on my phone (and the F-droid build for ARM from the
same 4.5-master SHA1 as I'm using on x86), the test.odt file opened (albeit
rather slowly).
