V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |INVALID --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- There is no reason to expect 100% layout compatibility with filter import or export of MSO formatted documents containing MS Formula Editor or MathType OLE objects. Filter import of the MSO OLE Equation Editor/MathType based formulas are being correctly rendered as OLE linked ODF formulas in LibreOffice. LibreOffice Math formula editor is using its default font, Liberation Serif, for the Equation Editor/MathType formulas. But IMHO don't see the formulas as malformed or misproportioned. You can of course change LibreOffices Math editor default fonts to Times New Roman. But would still have to fiddle a bit with formatting and margins to obtain consistent page layout. Frankly rendering of the MSO Formula Editor/MathType layout is really pretty close, just not 100% on margins and padding around OLE objects. But I think it is in general much better than with OOXML or MathML OLE renderings. Again no reason to expect the MSO or OOXML formats to import or export from LibreOffice with complete fidelity. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
