What you say makes perfect sense (and I've resorted to the sorter too), until perhaps your slides number 140, like mine. The question is this: Which is more sensible? Having an ODP opened at the first slide or where the user last saved it? FYI, I also have a long well-structured ODT (98 pages), which I can find where I left off with the Navigator too. But I'm *very* grateful that Writer opens it where I left off instead. I'll be very grateful too if Impress does the same.
