Bug ID: 90331
Summary: Unable to append data
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.1.2 rc
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
When using Base and copying and pasting data into a table the initial pasting
works fine. I works fine.
Step 1: Select Table in Base and Right click and Paste. Items selected Append
data and Use first line as column names. Then select Next.
Step 2: Uncheck the First Column which is ID, the auto primary key. Then select
Create.
Everything is copied to the Base Table.
Problem listed below when trying to append data to existing Table.
Step 1: Copy data from Calc without the header.
Step 2: Select Table in Base and Right click and Paste. Items select Append
data and uncheck, Use first line as column names. Then select Next
This where the error occurs.
Step 3:When viewing the Assign Columns under Source table the ID column is not
listed although it is the destination table.
Step 4: Click Create.
Step 5: The following error occurs: Warning: Wrong data type:
java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "MC313401" Continue anyway:
Note: In the error above the string above the text "MC313401" is the data that
I have for the second column.
In the design I have the primary key as ID with an Integer Field Type and
AutoValue set to Yes.
Thank you.
