Bug in slide 1, workaround 1 in slide 2 (bug shown only when presenting)
Using multiple graphics objects (such as a rectangles) to hide multiple parts
of a math object in a presentation does not work.
Use case:
Having a mathematical process written in one math object but showing it's
stages in class using animations.
Bug:
Once the first box is made to disappear, all the math object moves to the
foreground and is no longer hidden.
Workaround 1:
Convert the math object to curve.
Disadvantage of workaround 1:
Can no longer edit math object once converted.
Workaround 2:
Make a different math object for each part.
Disadvantage of workaround 2:
Harder to use existing long math objects (have to go in, cut them, insert
phantoms for where you have an equal sign, etc.). Harder to align everything
nicely.
In the attached simple example file, the first slide is with a hidden math
object and thus shows the bug, In the second slide it is converted to a curve
and works correctly.
