I have a Win7 Toshiba Quosmio laptop and I have hardware acceleration disabled now to make the slideshow work. Honestly, I don't notice any performance difference, compdared to HW accel activated (on the screen; maybe my CPU goes crazy during transitions and effects). Thanks again.
