            Bug ID: 90688
           Summary: Table borders not saved in Writer doc
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 4.2.7.2 release
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Repro steps:

* Create a new writer doc
* Insert a 4x4 table
* Select all cells in the 2nd and 3rd (middle) columns
* Right-click the selected area
* Select "Table..." in the pop-up menu
* Switch to the "Borders" tab
* In the "User-defined" diagram, select the vertical border in the middle (not
the left/right side).
* Switch the line style to something that's different, and bump up the width to
something obvious, e.g. 5pt.
* Click OK to close the Table dialog box
* Observe that the requested border is displayed in the document (usually;
sometimes even this doesn't work).
* Save the document
* Close the document
* Re-open the saved document
* Observe that the modified table borders are now blank (the cell boundaries
are draw if the option to show them is enabled, but the user-selected border is
not).

There are many similar bugs already filed, but I think the repro steps for this
one are different at least, if not the cause.

Version: 4.2.7.2
Build ID: 420m0(Build:2)
Distro: Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
Distro package version: 1:4.2.7-0ubuntu2
