Bug ID: 90780
Summary: Low performance viewing tables having a primary key
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.2.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: medium
Component: Base
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
System: LO Base on Windows 8.1, MySQL 5.5 on Ubuntu 14.04.2, connected over SSH
tunnel
Create a table with a primary key and another not key column. Fill with 200
rows. Create query in Base that selects this primary key. View the result in
table view. Scroll the data. Results in lags and strongly unresponsiveness.
Change the primary key to unique. View table again. Scrolling and data
receiving works fluently.
In the MySQL you will see that Base creates hundreds of select id from table
where id = n (n are integers) if you scroll the table view.
The issue seems not to depend on the connector. Tested with JDBC, nativ and
ODBC: same issue.
SSH or the connection to MySQL is very fast. Tried with MySQL Workbench.

describing the same issue.
