V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW CC| |[email protected] Ever confirmed|0 |1 --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- Shape objects in Writer and Calc are already exposed to a Rotate .uno:ToggleObjectRotateMode action on the Drawing Object Properties toolbar. That is the same action as present in Draw on the Standard toolbar as default for the Effects group button. And in Impress on the Drawing toolbar. It would be reasonable UI to provide similar mouse click toggle of the rotation mode for Writer and Calc shape objects. In addition to mouse movement of a selected object handle, <Ctrl>+<Tab>/<Ctrl>+<Shift>+<Tab> to move between the object handles, and cursor key movements already correctly perform the rotation once you reach rotation mode. Additionally, Rotation is such a common action--it would be useful if a global shortcut could be implemented that would either toggle into objects rotate mode, or as in case of Image inserted into Writer offer a dialog of 90 deg rotation button actions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
