I talked to one of the core calc experts about this and it's not a bug - the
way you're importing data is wrong so it's not a bug.

If you can give a real practical example of this not working (vs. the file that
you provided which isn't practical at all, that data is just being detected as
text which is of course not functional for a chart).

Marking as NOTABUG - if you can provide an actual example that we should expect
something functional to be created please do so and move it back to
UNCONFIRMED.

Please don't reopen the bug without another example as I've already discussed
this with the person who knows the code the best and he's not convinced (given
the provided example) that it's a bug.
