I tried that, and it didn't fix things. I also got a couple of error messages when reloading a complicated spreadsheet (possibly unrelated, but I'll post it in case it's helpful), which looked like this: Error loading BASIC of document file:///Users/<user name>/Library/Application%20Support/LibreOffice/4/user/basic/Standard/script.xlb/: General Error.
