Attempting to open some .xls files with Calc instead causes them to open with
Writer. Even using the "open" dialogue directly in Calc or right-clicking and
selecting "open with" and Calc, the files will open Writer. Attempting to
select a specific file type in Calc's "open" file selector can also cause
problems. For example, a 97-2003 .xls file will cause errors and fail to load:
Excel 97/2000/XP/2003 > "unsupported excel file format" (Windows explorer
correctly identifies the type, however).
