Bug ID: 91024
Summary: EDITING: Calc freeze sort
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.2.8.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
This may be a duplicate of bug 90757, though does not result in a complete
crash. I am running Libreoffice 4.2.8.2 on Linux Mint 17.1. Since the last
update of LO 4.2.8, sorting any spreadsheet typically takes a very long time
(several minutes).
The problem is apparent when highlighting all cells in a sheet, and then
sorting by any column (with "range contains column labels" checked). The
spreadsheet will freeze for several minutes, and LO will be completely
unresponsive during that time. The sort will eventually finish correctly.
I have had this problem with multiple files, whether they are in native format
or xlsx format.
