1. New Text Document.
2. View → Status Bar on.
3. File → Print Preview.
4. Close Preview.
Note:
Status Bar is still there.
5. View → Status Bar off.
6. File → Print Preview.
7. Close Preview.
8. View → Status Bar on.
9. File → Print Preview.
10. Close Preview.
Expected Result:
Status Bar is on.
Result:
Status Bar is off.

Repeating steps 8-10 turns the Status Bar off.

You can get the same effect by turning the Status Bar off in Print Preview.
1. New Text Document.
2. View → Status Bar on.
3. File → Print Preview.
4. View → Status Bar off.
5. Close Preview.
6. View → Status Bar on.
7. File → Print Preview.
10. Close Preview.

To get the Status Bar to permanently show you can restart LO or you can turn it
on, turn it off, and turn it on again.
