Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.3.2 rc
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Demonstration of the problem in OGV video format
When selecting more than one object (with shift key), you should not be able to
edit one single object.
The problem appears when you are trying to change any property (eg. background
color) of 10 objects that contain text. You have to be very precise (and have
good nerves) in order to select those 10 objects (trying to avoid area that
contain text). Clicking on any object (eg. rectangle shape) with text inside
will cause only that object to be selected and therefore all changes (including
backgrund color, font color etc) will be applied only to that object instead to
all 10 objects you selected.
SUGGESTION:
When selecting more than one object, selecting text inside any object should be
disabled!
Video is attached to demonstrate this problem.
