The document loads with placeholders for each picture displaying the URL for each picture. 2. The URL is replaced by the text "Read-Error." 3. The picture loads and covers the text. When the pictures fail to load, the process never passes the first step. The URL continues to be displayed. "Read-Error" is never shown on the screen. This is the opposite of how I would have expected it to behave. I do not know enough about the internal logic of LibreOffice, but I would imagine that this would narrow the range of code that is failing.
