Bug ID: 91368
Summary: UI: Styles and Formatting Performance
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
In the Sidebar, if it is currently on Properties and you click on Styles and
Formatting in the TabBar then there is a delay before it displays.
1. New Text Document.
2. Open Sidebar, if it is not currently displaying Styles and Formatting then
click on it.
Expected:
No delay.
Result:
Delay of 2 to 3 seconds.
1. New Text Document.
2. Insert Table 2 x2.
3. Open Sidebar to Styles and Formatting.
4. Place cursor outside of table.
5. Place cursor inside table.
Result:
Styles and Formatting flickers for a few seconds before landing on the current
style.
Open any document with lots of different styles and move the cursor about in
the document with Styles and Formatting open. There is a delay until it
settles upon the current style.
This might not be related but I was seeing 25% cpu usage with the following
document, but it was happening even with the Sidebar closed.
