Create a mail merge document.
File | Print...
Click "Yes" when asked if you want to print a form letter.
Leave "Printer" selected as output type and click "OK".
On "Options" tab, enable "Print to file".
Click "Print to File..." button.
Enter a file name into the Save dialog and click "Save".
It will save the file you specify with a ".pdf" extension.
Unfortunately, the content is actually PostScript, not PDF.
