You could be other indicators, but it depends on what the user can do. I think
it's very important to have a battery indicator on the presenter console to see
at a glance if you need to connect the mobile device (laptop or tablet) to the
power adapter.
Many times I am confident in the ability of the battery in my laptop and I'm so
focused on the exhibition I forget to connect my computer (or is not possible).
Therefore I think it would be the best solution (OS independent).
