--- Comment #21 from Edmund Laugasson <[email protected]> --- I would expect the same functionality as the desktop version has - also editing functionality. The viewer on Android is certainly very awaited. Good solution is https://www.rollapp.com/search?query=libreoffice - there is possibility also connect cloud storages even there are ownCloud, Mega Sync missing but the idea is great. Storage space is always problematic and competing with cloud storage service providers is pointless and offering connection with them would be very appreciated. Also connecting regular network protocols is appreciated: SSH, FTP, WebDAV, Samba, etc - that functionality should be available already when using LibreOffice dialogs and the "Servers" button. This means that having cloud version would be possible to use it as web-based office suite not only Android but also other platforms until there will be native versions for all these platforms. But even on these native versions would be cloud storage connectivity appreciated. Currently the LibreOffice Viewer can open only local files but usually there are no local files at the smartphone or tablet. There is possible to use Android ability to use cloud clients and download files at first to device and then open. At least this should be happen automatically when opening file over cloud storage like in PC. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
