Raal: reading tdf#91623 and tdf#91624 (which are dups), we can't consider this
one as WFM.
The reporter would like an option in Options so Ctrl-V default behaviour may be
changed to "unformatted text".
Let's reopen this one and close the dups

I don't know if it's a good idea or not, we could ask to UI team if you want.
First, what about doing this?
- click Menu Tools/Customize
- Select Keyboard tab
- in bottom left panel (under "Category"), select "Edit"
- in bottom middle panel (under "Function"), select "Paste Unformatted Text"
=> in bottom right panel, you'll see the default shortcut "Ctrl+Alt+Shit+V"
Now
- in top panel, select "Ctrl+V"
- click button Modify
Result: "Paste Unformatted Text" would be used with 2 shortcuts:
- the default one "Ctrl+Alt+Shit+V"
- the new one "Ctrl+V"
This customization has to be done once, not once per doc.

Maybe you never use a word processor in real life, just write ABOUT them?
We need to have your "bug report answering people" to send this request to the
software engineers - because they need to provide the simple option in the
Writer Preferences - for "Paste as Unformatted Text":
We have to paste data (repeatedly) into a Receipt form all day long. The data
comes from multiple sources, but our Libre Office Writer form is already
formatted with the text (font, size, color, etc) we need and want.
We do not want to have to stop an press Ctrl+V every time we are going to paste
a little datum into our form.
SIMPLY INCLUDE AN OPTION IN THE WRITER PREFERRANCES TO "paste as unformatted
text".
THAT WAY, we and hundreds of other users can use pre-designed forms in Libre
Writer to get some work done.
