Christian Lohmaier <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |NEEDINFO --- Comment #2 from Christian Lohmaier <[email protected]> --- works with gmail - so must be some quirk in other mail programs - so K9 mail is mentioned - what mailprogram does Luc use? The mail-app should send a corresponding Intent that the Viewer picks up. The Viewer (in current versions) will try to copy the data to a temporary file and then open that. That copy file to temp even has different handlings for K9 mail vs gmail already when opening csv (they use different mimetypes, and the viewer needs to make sure it has csv extension to open in calc mode), so it works in principle/when that code was written And would be nice if you could provide a logcat when trying to open it. (Is it the mimetype matching or the creation of a temporary file that fails?) Or - more surprising - the actual loading of the file (as downloading the file first does work, according to the report) → needinfo -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
