I can do that on Ubuntu, if the Navigator is undocked.

Should be solved by the above. If not, it is an OS/Window manager issue

OK, direct editing of the titles.

Now it is a good habit to make one issue for each bug/enhancement request.

I change this issue to Word wrap. Would you please be so kind to write a
separate issue for the editing of the header titles?
