Bug ID: 91708
Summary: Enhancement Request: user-selectable comment-margin in
printing
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 4.4.3.2 rc
Hardware: Other
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Currently, when Writer is set to put comments in margins (via Tools > Options >
LibreOffice Writer > Print > Comments In Margins), the document will print
pages in condensed size with the comment margin present even if there are no
comments or if all previous comments have been removed from the document.
This seems somewhat counterintuitive, as removing all comments from a document
typically implies the document is ready for full-page printing. Would it be
possible to add a feature, for example, defaulting to full-page print mode in
the absence of comments BUT allowing the user to enable the comment margin even
if there are no comments (in case they want to write in their own while editing
a document)?
Thank you!
