Bug ID: 91759
Summary: Spaces in links
Product: LibreOffice
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Issue:
Excel will remove a link to a file containing spaces from an xlsx file.
Platforms:
Linux Mint Debian Edition
Windows 7 32 bit
Affected version:
LibreOfficeDev 5.0.0.0.beta1
LibreOfficeDev Build ID: 0a16c3dda4150008d9be6f24cbd15ac198d116d3
Steps to reproduce
1. Create a Calc Spreadsheet on a USB drive (FAT 32)
2. Insert a hyperlink by first opening the relevant menu (Ctrl-K) and go to
"Document"
3. In "Path" select a file with spaces in its name on your USB drive
4. Save the file to "test.xlsx" (it has to be "Save" not "Save as" because the
latter doesn't seem to convert absolute paths to relative ones)
5. Open test.xlsx using Excel 14.0.7149.5000 on Windows 7
Excel complains that the contents of the sheet are unreadable and offers to
repair the document. After approving that, Excel reports that the hyperlink was
removed.
Thanks in advance
