Happens on Vista Ultimate, will check other OS's
To recreate:
Create Libreoffice writer document
Place on desktop, or where-ever
Double click on document to open
Notice document disappears~!
Note also this happens with the latest version of Apache Open Office. In fact,
this bug is the reason that I tried Libre Office.
When the document disappears, its completely gone. I have found no way to
retrieve it.
This is a frustrating bug folks. I spent the last two hours creating a
document. And this happened. :(
I have twenty years in software testing so you can trust this bug report. I'm
not smoking too much spliff or anything. The document is evaporated as soon as
you double click on it. Serious un-initialized variable here.
