This is really weird and seemingly a bit random. But it is now rare if ever
that I can go for many minutes entering data into Calc cells before erratic and
unwelcome things start happening on screen. For example, I'll input data and it
doesn't show up in the cell (even though it's in the Formula bar; or when I
scroll or switch tabs, the display get's jumbled / corrupted. Wierdly, the only
way through this appears to be clicking outside the LibreOffice window and then
back again, whereupon things appear to be back on track. But it's a ridiculous
pain and threatens my continued use of LibreOffice.
